Silent Day of Prayer on the Faithful Departed: Created for Eternal Life--"Set Your Heart on Things Above"

Jesus confirmed that human life continues eternally after death, and that through Him we are called to resurrection and everlasting communion with God in imitation of what Jesus demonstrated for us on Easter. But what does this look like? With a peek at verifiable near-death experiences and stories of deathbed conversations with those who have passed, this day of prayer will bring opportunities for deep reflection about how our prayers can assist our loved ones who await the Resurrection of the Body and Life Everlasting. Included will be Holy Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, two conferences, lunch, the recitation of the Rosary and Adoration before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
