Silent Day of Prayer: Gently Embrace Grief with Deacon John Ruscheinsky
𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿: 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 Led by Deacon John Ruscheinsky Thursday, June 4, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (8:30 a.m. check-in) Bereavement and Grief may be a universal experience, but it is one in which most of us feel the least prepared to cope. Many people who are struggling with loss say that no one can fully understand the intensity of another's feelings, but there are ways in which we can be helpful to ourselves and to others in this trying time of life. Recognize that there is no right way to grieve: You may feel the same intensity of the loss on anniversaries, holidays, and special occasions that you felt shortly after loss. Grief has no set time: You will become more comfortable with your loss even though it may feel intolerable at times. Talk is an important healer through the ups and downs.
